In my knowledge XP SP2 has an impact to many programs that used to work before the upgrade. If uninstalling the driver and then installing it properly helped, then it would be a solution for your problem. It appears there are others in the forum with similar problems with the drivers and XP. Dave, for the driver part - correct. Dell machines are modified versions, and if you upgrade DELL machine with Lexmark firmware, you will have serious problems even inability to use printer at all.

I'm not sure you will be able to claim warranty on this machine afterwards.. Dave, you may trust me on this - Dell and Lexmark models do have differences in firmware.

My problem is that I can't figure out how to reset the manual feed back to the auto feed. Anybody know how to reset that? If any one else has an answer please let me know. If you have any questions about this just post and i will get back to you.
